Special Processes

Processes
One of our strong assets is our full capability for heat treatment, surface coating and welding processes.

Our heat treatment shop is fully capable to process stainless steel, nickel, titanium and aluminum alloys and super alloys. Heat treatments available include: hardening, annealing, stress relief, deep freeze, tempering, carburizing, gas nitrating, stabilization, shot peening, age hardening, solution and precipitation heat treatment for steels and alloys, normalizing, dry blasting, hardness checking, mechanical testing and metallographic checks, with all processes NADCAP certified.

We have full capability for: nickel plating, copper plating, silver plating, cadmium plating, oxidizing, anodizing and hard anodizing, chemical stripping processes for plasma and aluminized coatings, grit blasting, vacu-blasting and shot-peening.

We can also perform:

  • Painting processes, in our paint shop equipped with manual and automatic painting lines for dressing, spraying, drying and curing operations;
  • Brazing processes (using an IBSEN vacuum furnace);
  • Plasma metallization using METCO coatings on newly manufactured or repaired engine parts.

The welding processes we employ are TIG and electric resistance welding.
