Turbomecanica Confirms Its Position as a Center of Excellence for Romania’s Defense Industry through Participation in BSDA 2022

The 8th edition of the International Exhibition dedicated to defense, national security, and the national industry — Black Sea Defence and Aerospace – BSDA 2022 — took place between May 18–20 in Bucharest, at the ROMAERO Băneasa platform.

Over 390 companies from the global defense, aerospace, and security industries, representing 33 countries, showcased their latest products and services over the three-day event.

This year, TURBOMECANICA participated as an exhibitor under the umbrella of ARIE (Romanian Helicopter Industry Association), alongside other leading companies from the aerospace industry.

Through its presence at the event, TURBOMECANICA reaffirmed its position as a strategic supplier for national defense structures and a long-term trusted partner for the maintenance of both military and civilian components, through major helicopter and aircraft maintenance and modernization programs for Romania’s air fleet.

TURBOMECANICA also aims to carry forward Romania’s aviation tradition and to promote the country’s helicopter industry through its extensive capabilities in spare parts manufacturing and dynamic assembly maintenance, as well as engine servicing.

As a founding member of the Romanian Helicopter Industry Association, the company shares the Association’s common goal of revitalizing the defense industry and strengthening and developing the helicopter sector through access to modern technologies.
