Studies and experience:
PhD and graduate of the Law University of Bucharest in 1959, Mr. Florescu has been appointed by Bucharest Law School, starting 1999 and up to this day, as Chief of Department of Private Law due to his remarkable professional achievements.
During the years, Mr Florescu has earned several study certificates such as: Certificate for Superior European Studies (DES), France (1971), Certificate granted by the Research Center of the International Law Academy, Haga, Netherlands 1975.
Due to his impressive set of legal skills, Mr. Florescu has held positions such as: Magistrate, Adviser to the Department of Justice (1991-1993), Lawyer in the Bucharest Bar and Corresponding Lawyer in the Paris Bar.
He also is a member of the Leading Board of the Romanian Trade and Industry Chamber, a referee in the commercial law suits at the International Commerce Court of Arbitration Bucharest and starting 1990 he can be found on the lists of some important foreign International Commerce Courts of Arbitration.
He attended, as a Romanian expert, several Committees and International Organizations (UN Economical Committee for Europe, Legal Committee of CAER).
