MRO BEER 2025

Between May 14–15, 2025, the TURBOMECANICA delegation traveled to Prague, Czech Republic, to participate in the international event MRO BEER 2025.

The event aims to bring together key stakeholders, including airlines, MROs, suppliers, OEMs, regulatory authorities, and experts, to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. MRO BEER offers unique networking opportunities, interactive sessions, and hands-on learning experiences. This event is a must-attend gathering for professionals in the Baltic and Eastern European aviation maintenance sector, providing essential insights for navigating the industry’s complex landscape.

This year, over 900 participants attended the MRO BEER event, a growth compared to last year’s edition in Vilnius, which gathered over 700 participants. The two-day exhibition brought together participants from 61 countries, representing all levels of the aviation industry supply chain, and facilitated numerous networking opportunities.

TURBOMECANICA participated in the event as an exhibitor.
Turbomecanica held scheduled meetings through the Brella platform provided by Aviation Week, as well as ad-hoc meetings at its own stand or at other exhibitors’ booths.

Through the networking platform, Turbomecanica arranged meetings with event participants, thus having the opportunity to meet potential customers/partners face-to-face and to establish long-term partnerships.
The delegation presented Turbomecanica’s capabilities and interests and established new connections to support the achievement of its strategic goals.

The Turbomecanica delegation held meetings with the following companies during the event:
MTU Maintenance, VALLAIR, Altus Global Aviation LLC, Hi Fly, FL Technics, Aviation Week, Courier Networking, Magnum AirDynamics, AerFin, International Aircraft, Hutchinson Aerospace, ATOPS, AeroParts, and Stratton Aviation.

In addition to these meetings, the delegation engaged in discussions at various company booths and at its own stand—both to promote Turbomecanica and its capabilities, and to gather information on new sales offers for the CFM56-7B engine currently available on the market.

The main topics discussed in the unscheduled meetings included:

  • The diversity of in-house capabilities at TURBOMECANICA (TMB);
  • New repair capabilities enabled by investments in the metallizing machine;
  • The complete set of certifications held by TMB;
  • TMB’s extensive experience, supported by its long-standing presence in the aerospace field;
  • The company’s commitment to develop and invest in the CFM56-7B engine maintenance project and acquisitions.

The Turbomecanica delegation also attended the “Forecast Presentation – Key Trends & Topics for the Region” conference, presented by Daniel Williams, Director of Fleet Data Services at Aviation Week Network.

This conference discussed regional investment prospects and MRO growth opportunities. It aimed to explore investment opportunities, how recent mergers and acquisitions are shaping the market, and what makes this region (Eastern Europe and the Baltic countries) stand out for OEMs, operators, and service providers looking to expand.

The conference also highlighted investment opportunities in the MRO sector for aircraft, engines, components, and maintenance lines, as well as how companies evaluate the value of investing in this region compared to others globally.

As fleets in Eastern Europe and the Baltics grow, so too must the region’s MRO infrastructure. Countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Latvia are actively positioning themselves as strategic hubs for MRO investments, offering competitive incentives, skilled labor, and geographic advantages.

The Turbomecanica delegation also took part in the Facility Tour organized by Czech Airlines Technics, which included a visit to the narrow-body aircraft paint shop at Václav Havel Airport in Prague.

TURBOMECANICA’s presence at prestigious aviation industry events strengthens the company’s image as a solid player with tradition and expertise in the regional and international aerospace industry.

TURBOMECANICA’s active participation in international aerospace fairs and exhibitions—especially those in the MRO segment—is a key pillar of its strategy to strengthen its position on the global market. This continued presence is justified by a series of direct and indirect benefits with significant impact on commercial, technical, and brand-related activities, including:

  • Consolidation of existing commercial relationships;
  • Access to new markets and business opportunities;
  • Increased visibility and brand awareness;
  • Promotion of new capabilities and certifications;
  • Monitoring of technological developments;
  • Experience exchange and professional networking.
