TURBOMECANICA at BSDA 2016 – Black Sea Defense & Aerospace Exhibition & Conference

From 18th to 20 th of May 2016, TURBOMECANICA was present at International Exhibition and Conference dedicated to Defense, Aerospace, Homeland Security, Cyber Security and Safety & Security, being held at ROMAERO- Baneasa Exhibition Center.

The event brought together top companies from Romania and abroad, who presented the current stage of equipment development and military capabilities and latest trends & technical solutions resulted from scientific research in the field of security and defense.

BSDA event was attended by a number of 250 exhibitors from 25 countries of America, Europe and Asia and 9 military delegations from Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, UAE, France, Georgia, Moldova, Thailand and Turkey.
MiG-21 LANCER, C-27 J SPARTAN, IAR-99 SOIM aircrafts and IAR-330 PUMA SOCAT helicopters, belonging to the Romanian Air Force, have performed demonstration flights for the participants and public.

TURBOMECANICA was present the event with a promotional stand and had the opportunity to meet and discuss on topics of interest / collaboration opportunities with representatives of: Romanian Ministry of Defense, Romanian Air Force, Romanian Navy, Romanian Secret Service, ROMTEHNICA, ROMARM, IAR Brasov, Avioane Craiova, CIZ Craiova, ANCEX and other Romanian aeronautical companies.
We also had the opportunity to meet with representatives of major international aerospace corporations who visited our booth, as : AIRBUS Group, AIRBUS Helicopters Romania, Bell Helicopter, Lockheed Martin, RUAG Aviation.

Amoung the foreign delegations, who have shown their interest in our company’s capabilities and with whom our representatives have discussed in terms of identifying and developing future collaborations, we mention: Egypt Ministry of Defense, Montenegro Defense Industry, Georgia Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian Embassy in Romania, representatives of Investment Corporate Development USA, accompanied by representatives of Romanian Ministry of Economy.
