TURBOMECANICA at Farnborough Intenational Airshow 2018
Every year, the fair opens its doors for more than 100,000 visitors with an exhibition space of 70,000 m2, representing the largest exhibition in aerospace and aerospace industry organized in 2018.
The event offers business and networking opportunities with existing customers as well as potential new customers, meetings with qualified suppliers and potential business partners.
The Romanian Aeronautical Industry was proudly represented by TURBOMECANICA SA which participated with its own booth (Hall 4_41675) as well as by other companies reunited under the Romanian pavilion.
The team that represented TURBOMECANICA at this international event attended a series of Business to Business meetings both with the current business partners and representatives of other industry aeronautical companies, potential customers / suppliers.
Thus, during the 7-days exhibition, in TURBOMECANICA stand, as well as in our partners stands, several meetings took place with the representatives of: SAFRAN GROUP – FRANCE (Global Sourcing Manager), MTU AERO ENGINES AG – GERMANY (Procurement Strategy Manager, LEONARDO HELICOPTERS – ITALY (Procurement & Supply Chain Manager) – negotiations concerning the contract to be signed this year, MB AEROSPACE – POLAND (Business Development Manager), Standard Aero Components Services – Military & Energy – Ohio, SUA (Business Development & New Manufacturing Manager), LIEBHERR – AEROSPACE, GERMANY, MECACHROME – FRANCE (Global Commodity Buyer) and many others.
In addition, TURBOMECANICA hosted in each stand meetings with many suppliers, including: LEISTRITZ TURBINENTECHNIK GERMANY (Business Development & Director), VILLARES METALS – NETHERLANDS (Sales Manager), ALPHA CASTING, – CANADA (Vice President), SETFORGE – FRANCE (Sales Manager), WUYI TURBINE BLADE – CHINA (Business Manager Aviation Market), tooling companies: AERONAUTICS – GROUP INMAPA Spain and BLADES & TOOLS India and many others.
The aim of these meetings was to reconfirm our current capabilities, to promote the core values of our company: “QUALITY. CAPABILITY. FLEXIBILITY”, to consolidate the bases of current collaborations at international level, but especially to identify new business opportunities in machining & special processes in order to optimize the utilization of available production capacities and the current resources of the company.
TURBOMECANICA’s participation at this event continues, in a positive trend, the efforts to develop our business and to reassert the company’s image on the domestic and international markets. This efforts have been materialized according the marketing policy that included our company’s participation at other prestigiousevents: Black Sea Defense & Aerospace 2018 (BSDA) and ILA Berlin Air Show 2018.
We expect to conclude, within medium to short term, the majority of the actions agreed onduring these meetings, both by receiving request for quotation for new programs and by developingprograms with existing customers.
