MRO Europe Barcelona 2024

Between October 23-24, 2024, the TURBOMECANICA delegation traveled to Barcelona, Spain, to participate in the international event MRO Europe 2024.

MRO EUROPE is the largest event of its kind in Europe, where airlines, MRO organizations, OEMs, lessors, suppliers, and industry experts gathered to explore and define trends in the international aviation maintenance industry.

The event itself served as a hub for B2B meetings, creating opportunities for connections, and was the place where companies formed new relationships, reunited with business partners, and met suppliers of solutions and services.

This year, over 11.500 participants attended the MRO Europe event, held at the renowned Fira Barcelona Gran Via building. The two-day exhibition brought together over 590 exhibitors from around the world, representing all levels of the aviation industry supply chain, and provided numerous networking opportunities.

Activities carried out by the TURBOMECANICA delegation at MRO Europe 2024
Turbomecanica participated in this event with an exhibition stand. The delegation held scheduled meetings as well as ad-hoc meetings at their own stand and at the stands of other exhibitors.
Through the networking platform provided by Aviation Week, Turbomecanica arranged meetings with participants at the event, offering the opportunity to meet face-to-face with potential clients/partners and create long-term partnerships.

The delegation presented Turbomecanica’s capabilities and interests, establishing new connections to help achieve the targeted goals.

The Turbomecanica delegation had the following meetings at the event:

In addition to these meetings, the Turbomecanica delegation focused on visiting the stands of MRO companies to engage in discussions and gather information on new CFM 56-7B engine sales offers on the market.

The main topics addressed during the unscheduled meetings through the platform were:

  • The diversity of in-house capabilities at TMB
  • New capabilities in the repair sector, thanks to investments in the metallizing machine
  • The full range of certifications held by TMB
  • TMB’s experience, given its long-standing presence in the aerospace industry
  • The desire to develop and invest in the CFM 56-7B engine maintenance project and acquisition

Moreover, Turbomecanica’s presence at this event aimed to increase brand recognition and awareness of the services offered by TMB, gather information about market trends, and identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.

Participation in such events creates the premise for Turbomecanica to become a member of a thriving community. It allows for the expansion of existing relationships and the generation of new contacts. We will be able to learn about other facets of the industry and our competition while building our own business. Such events – exhibitions and conferences – consistently attract decision-makers and industry leaders, offering us the opportunity to expand our network in a unique, face-to-face environment.
