Turbomecanica at Farnborough International Airshow 2016

During 11th -15th of July 2016 Turbomecanica attended Farnborough International Airshow, the No. 1 event in global aerospace industry. The exhibition was held at Farnborough Airport in UK and hosted app. 1.500 exhibitors from all major aerospace industry sectors: space, civil aviation, military aviation, technology, helicopters, maintenance and repair. Over 80 military delegations from 50 countries, 13 civil delegations from 9 countries and 50 government officials from UK have participated at this event.

Turbomecanica was the only Romanian company attending at the event with a promotional stand and had the opportunity to meet the major international aeronautical corporations. Through “Meet the Buyers” program Turbomecanica held a series of Business to Business meetings with the potential customers such as: Safran Aircraft Engines (Snecma), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Aero Engines LTD, QinetiQ UK, Jalux Inc- Japonia, IHI Corporation Japonia, Aerofi India, Aerospace Engineers India.

Our company’s booth was also visited by representatives of ASD UK- Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe, Rolls Royce UK, LEONARDO, OGMA- Industria Aeronautica de Portugal, Parker Aerospace-USA, Aviall – a Boeing Company, PAS Technologies.

During these meetings our commercial team presented Turbomecanica’s capabilities and consolidated the premises of international cooperation.

Furthermore, Turbomecanica was visited by a number of suppliers of raw materials, tools and devices, storage solutions including: IMET Alloys, Timet Savoie S.A, Praxiair Surface Technologies Inc, Bohler, JWR Technology, Trafilerie San Paolo S.r.l, etc.
