Partnership with higher education institutions
Our strategy provides development of long term partnership with main economical and technical universities from Romania in order to manage skills in a manner that ensures the necessary resource to continue and develop the activity of Turbomecanica, correlated with encouragement of young people to enter the professional life.
The objectives of this strategy are:
- to raise the students awareness regarding jobs in aeronautics;
- to contribute to the professional training of youth;
- to inform universities about the long term necessities of the Company in terms of basic knowledge which the young people should receive during their studies.
We train our specialists to be able to adapt quickly to specific methods and occupations by developing alongside with technical universities from Romania, a set of programs adjusted to the specific needs of the aeronautical engineering.
The main objective is to develop the necessary competences for project management in the aeronautical activity.

The aim of the Program
To identify the development potential of young people and provide their appropriate skill development;
To consolidatethe youth theoretical and practical knowledge specific to aeronautics;
to create specialists who can provide a back-up resource for potentially high-risk positions, for both operating and coordination activities.
Program Description
The young people will be selected after a rigorous selection process (CV screening, interviews, skills tests, evaluation).
The program is designed so that each candidate has the opportunity to learn about at least one process in detail, carrying out tasks in the shop-floors/departments of the Company for 6 months. The selected candidates will be employed by Turbomecanica during this period.
The program structure will involve the rotation of young people through fields of activity depending on the level of qualification and specialization that they want to develop. At the end of the program, the candidates will have the possibility to receive a position in the shop-floors/departments participating in the program.
Internships will give participants the opportunity to be involved in the daily activities of their colleagues, in projects, presentations, meetings with customers. The trainees will participate in training sessions and regular evaluation and at the end of the program these will take a test, based on which following decisions may be taken:
- Graduates of vocational schools and theoretical or technical schools will receive a qualification certificate for the activity they were trained for and for the position they will receive;
- Graduates of higher education institutions will receive a collaboration proposal for the activity they are trained, if they are suitable.
The potential employment on a certain activity will have consider the test results, the option expressed by each trainee and the strategic objectives of Turbomecanica S.A.
Candidate Profile
For positions which require higher studies:
- Student in terminal years or fresh graduate of a technical or economic faculty, with remarcable results in his/her university studies;
- Fluent knowledge of English;
For positions which require medium studies
- Graduate of technical school or high school with good results in his/her science subjects studied throughout the medium studies;
- Other skills in handling tools and devices.

Requirements

– Assisting acquisition analyst in preparation of procurement contracts;
– Supervision and follow-up of the external contracts;

Internship Turbo - Accountancy
Requirements
– Student in final year, specialization: Accounting and Management Information Systems;
– Outstanding results during university studies and written recommendation from the faculty;

– Preparation of bookkeeping/accounting primary;
– Accounting records;
– Recording data in FI/SAP module.
Internship Turbo - Aviation Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

– Working with digital technical drawings using AutoCAD;
– Plotting large format drawings;

Internship Turbo - Production Process Engineering
Requirements
– Student in final year, specialization: Material Science and Engineering / Process Engineering;
– Outstanding results during university studies and written recommendation from the faculty;

– Assisting process engineers in controlling technological parameters of operations and in conducting technological measurements;
– Assisting control room operators in automated process flow management;
– Assisting technical department specialists in preparing report production.
Internship Turbo - Quality Laboratory
Requirements
– Student in final year, specialization: Material Science and Engineering / Chemistry;
– Outstanding results during university studies and written recommendation from the faculty;

– Assisting specialists to conduct analysis in quantitative and qualitative analytical chemistry;
– Assisting specialists in conducting XRF analysis;
– Assisting specialists in conducting physical-mechanical analysis;
– Follow-up of analysis activities in the technological process.

– Support for specific activities to comply with legal requirements on environmental protection;
– Support for specific activities to comply with legal requirements on waste management;
– Assisting the environmental licensing activities for periodic authorization of the Company.
